After being shrink wrapped and parked for years, there was plenty of rodent droppings, dirt, and two stroke oil to clean up. Fortunately with the aid of some Simple Green and a scrub brush, the boat cleaned up well. When it come down to it, the Classic Whalers are essentially break down to an expensive pile of exotic lumber and a large fiberglass tub. It's that simplicity which is one of the Classic Whaler's greatest attributes. Maintenance and replacement of the interior components are accomplished with relative ease. Now that disassembly is complete, restoration can begin.
