Bayed - thanks for the compliment.
We bought this boat about 2.5 weeks after missing out on a 1995 Outrage 21. We put a $3,000 deposit down on the Outage 21 on a Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. and scheduled an on-water run for 4:00 p.m. the same day. The seller called at 2:00 p.m. that day, saying another buyer would take it sight-unseen for the full selling price and would be there with cash within 15 minutes. The sellers question was - 'Do you want to show up with cash and forget the on-water trial?' Bad vibes - we passed on it and got our deposit back.
I see that you have a 1984 Montuak and a 1974 Sport 13. We have exactly the same year/hull Montauk that will now get a complete refit. We'll decide which one to keep when the refit is done. View lockepoint's Personal Page

Love the trolling motor project... would you mind sharing the measured drawings? Also, just wondering why you went as high with the base as you did.... could it be built flatter to the top rail height? Thanks for the innovative idea!

Ishmael, I made a forum post regarding the thru hole fittings.
http://www.whalercentral.com/forum/vi...ost_168175
This one picture is the starboard side splashwell. The port splashwell thru hull and the bilge thru hull fittings are also in similar bad shape and need replaced. View bsciance's Personal Page

Hello
Did you remove the bow rail? If so, are the sections between the uprights a single piece or one continuous piece?
Thanks View Outbound44's Personal Page

Good day
I am getting ready to remove the bow rail to prep for paint. Did you remove yours? If so, is the rail one or two piece or severel?
thanks,

I have 1964 13" and would like to copy your ideas. Your boat looks great. How did you attach the 3/4" bridge to the original deck. With stainless screws? View svwalkabout's Personal Page

Pretty boat. I recently purchased a 1998 15' dauntless/justice that I am restoring. I cannot find a swim platform. Please let me know if you have any leads. Thank you - Tim in Boston View rmtaylor77's Personal Page

Hi. I recently purchases a 1998 Justice 15 which I believe is the same hull as the Dauntless 15. I am looking for a swim platform. I cannot find anyone with the OEM part. Have you come across anyone who may have something that might work? View WhaleBait's Personal Page
