Official word from Boston Whaler when the first Montauk was made and the stencil number.
According to our records, the first Montauk was hull # 3A6757. This was built on 2/2/73.

This was built February 2, 1973 as a 1973 year model.
This also would have had an HIN embedded in the transom, BWCA????0273
