Although I was confident my initial diaphram repair was successful, I removed the original diaphragm so I could inspect the inside of the capsule. While apart I re-soldered all original solder joints and then made a new diaphragm from 0.005" brass sheet (K&S Precision Metals; Part #250; http://www.ksmetals.com/30.htmlom/30.html) and soldered it into place.
