The purpose of the Strap is to hold the Fender when attaching or removing the Bungee Cord. The Strap also serves to minimize the movement all components when the boat is underway.

The strap is 1" wide and made of nylon. For the length, I'd add 10" to the diameter of your Fender selection. This will allow "play" for Fender expansion and contraction and for inclusion of the boat rails. After cutting the straps, lightly burn the ends with a propane torch. Be Careful! Burning the ends will prevent unraveling of the nylon fiber strands.

Assemble the Strap with Buckles and Guides as shown. The Guides keep the Strap Ends nice and tidy.
