Boston Whaler - Removing the outboard motor
So, this year, I put the boat in my garage at the end of February and started taking it apart. After thinking through a series of possible hoisting options, my local Harbor Freight had a sale on what they called shop hoists. I call it a handy dandy outboard motor hoist!

This is the removal of the motor (2004 115 Evinrude; this is a great motor once I found out that it needs an elbow in the fuel line to prevent the fuel line from collapsing); the hoisting hook is another story (ended up being an eye hook purchased from McMaster Carr with the threads drilled out... not bad, $20.00)
