Boston Whaler - Woven Roving hull lining
As I indicated earlier, I planned on mitigating any weaknesses with foam density/strength and polyester degradation over time by laminating an additional layer of epoxy/fiberglass to the hull. If you look at the equation for sandwich construction, the "skin thickness" is just another term in the equation. So, I used 18 oz fiberglass woven roving and 10 oz 12 inch fiberglass tape on the hull sides along with epoxy to reinforce the hull.
