Boston Whaler - Bilge Pump Install 1
I discovered a situation with the under-deck rigging tunnel found in the '94 thru '98 Dauntless 15. I new that a certain amount of water would accumulate in the rigging well located at the rear Star board side on the deck. If trailering no-problem there is a 1.0 in. drain plug in this rear well. Remove it before driving away from marina and it will be dry by the time you arrive home. The happy ending is very different if your on a week long vacation and the boat is moored to a sea wall during that time. Every morning I would have to cup nearly 2 gallons of combined rain, wash-down and salt water through a 4 in. inspection hole to dry this area. Not fun!
