Since the transom had been re-finished I had the existing transducer and wiring mounting hole eliminated. What to do now, I didn't want to drill any new holes into the transom. I happen to be reading one of my issues of Boat US. and I came across an add for a product that was going to solve my concern. SternMate by Captain Chris, I placed an order for a kit after reading the details on his website.
