I fabricated the transom savers from 6061-T6 Aluminum plate .375 in. thickness. The O.A.L. for each plate varies but their width is 4 in.. The ends were machined with angles to compliment the shape and contour of the transom and lower well. For corrosion resistance I had them powder coated in gloss white.
