The hydraulic rams had also been improperly installed onto the transom. Bennet Rams use a brass male N.P.T. nipple connector that feeds through the transom for hydraulic fluid delivery, when I pulled my rams off these nipples were starting to corrode from the salt water intrussion into the transom due to poor sealing.
