I bought this Outrage last year and found out that not only were the through hulls leaking badly, but the previous owner clearly thought Boston Whaler foam was impervious to water absorption... well, he was wrong... I noticed when I got the boat home that there was condensation on the bottom (one of the few advantages we have here in New England; it's cold enough to get the hull cold so that water can condense on saturated foam hull portions). I drilled a hole about 5 inches from the back of the transom on the bottom and drained about 3 quarts of water out of her (salt water). I replaced the drain tubes and played with it for the rest of the year. She was definitely a little low in the water.. Every hole I dealt with in the transom dribbled water, so I knew that the wooden transom was saturated with water.
