With the only hull I D number being stamped on a brass department of the navy tag, which also had manufacture listed as Seaford Marine, I wanted proof of being built by whaler. After the cap was gone I found the stencil number. One quick call to chuck Bennett confirmed the build date of the boat and that it was sold to Seaford Marine. I believe this dealer to have been somewhere in New York.
