My Super Sport 13 lacked a feature to securely place a rod while fishing from the bow. To address this deficiency, I added a pair of stainless steel rail mounted rod holders to the Super Sport 15's vertical rail stanchions which are mounted to the casting platform deck. By mounting the rod holder inside and below the rail, the rod holder will not interfere with installation of the boat cover. The aft rod holder rack was attached to 1/2" King Starboard (used as a standoff), which in turn was attached to the aft face of the plastic rear storage bin.
