Pictured here are the remaining lower unit components just prior to final assembly: prop shaft bearing carrier, push rod, detent ball, prop shaft with clutch dog installed, and the gear case assembly.

The clutch dog was previously installed onto the prop shaft using the clutch spring, clutch spring holder, clutch pin, and clutch pin snap (not pictured).
