Boston Whaler - Finished - Bow Light
Pictured is the bow light portion of the finished installation. The rub rail track had to be trimmed to accept the bow light using a small sharp wood chisel. The shape of the area chiseled was matched to the way the original rub rail track was trimmed by Boston Whaler at the factory.

Looks great! I’m getting ready to install a new rub rail and bow light like yours. Do I have to cut away all the rub rail where the light will rest? I’m assuming there’s enough rub rail left on the bottom portion to keep everything in line?
