New spark plugs (NGK BR8HS-10) were then installed. The NS50D2 uses NGK BR8HS-10 (or B8HS-10 if a non-resistor plug is desired) and the NS40D2 uses BR7HS-10 (or B7HS-10 if a non-resistor plug is desired). Both models call for a plug gap of 1mm.
