Boston Whaler - Horizontal Fender Assembly
When you are docking and want the Fender between the boat and the dock in the horizontal position, follow these instructions.

First undo the Strap from the Fender, then re-buckle it to the rail itself. This just prevents the Strap from getting lost while docking.

Then, undo the Bungee Cord wrappings. Hold both ends of the Bungee Cord so that equal lengths of Bungee Cord are at both ends. Then hook the Hook End to the railing itself, as shown in the photo. (Note: when purchasing the Hook Ends, try to get a loop size that matches the rail diameter.)

If the height of the Fender is too low, then wrap the Bungee Cord around the rail and attach, as described in the previous photo. Again, I'm sure there are plenty of knots that can be used here too. Feel free to experiment!
