Boston Whaler - repairing stripped out holes
Im drilling out every hole holding down the tank cover, RPS Seat and console 1/2 inch wide just past the 1/2 plywood embedded in the floor(cant see the plywood in the pic) will be filling the holes with thickened epoxy resin then dipping the 1/2 plywood plugs I made with a plug cutter in the resin before banging them in the hole. This will insure all screws will grab snug. Most of the holes were stripped out due to 37 years of use. This is a must step to keep everything tight.

I did a similar thing....though a little different...I stuffed chopped glass into the hole and then injected some thinned epoxy with a syringe....pack the glass tight and put the epoxy in really slowly...seems to work well..

I was going to try that but did a test hole and the screw did not grab once bottomed out, It will hold better and grab better into the plywood
