All holes on the gunnel were reinforced on the underside with bi-axle fiberglass then coated with fresh gel coat. Was going to leave the holes in the gunnel that I wanted to use in the future (ex. down rigger mounts, stern light, rod holders, rail mounts) but figured it was easier to start from scratch and was able to blend everything in alot better.
