Plexi is thickest commonly available, 3/8" I believe.
The big wrap around looks pretty good and should prove functional. The windshield has 1/8 to 1/4" of spacing utilizing nylon offsetting shims at the screw positions. No dirt can collect in the usual crevass between windshield and console, and the shimming can better handle the inevitable heat expansion.
