Carefull consideration was taken for the location of the filter assembly. It had to be accessible, protected and still allow for storage space under the casting platform. Notice the overhang below the filter assembly from the splash well, this is why I needed to fabricate the billet spacer. The mounting angle is also visible in the photo.
