1. When attempting to repair leaks located on any brass components do not use silicone or any other adhesive or sealant. Repair these areas by soldering them.

2. If there is a leak between the acrylic globe and brass housing do not use silicone or any other adhesive or sealant. Repair this by re-crimping the housing.
