Boston Whaler - Gelcoat Sprayed
I purchased factory-matched light grey gelcoat from Spectrum http://www.spectrumcolor.com and sprayed 3 coats using a Preval sprayer https://www.preval.com/what-is-preval-is-preval. Gelcoat was thinned 10% with acetone prior to spraying. The first two coats were sprayed without surfacing agent and the final coat was sprayed with Spectrum-supplied surfacing agent added. The first two coats were allowed to cure one hour between coats and the final coat was allowed to cure 24 hours before mechanically surfacing.
