A view from inside the boat towards the transom of trim tab ram's hydraulic fluid connection. I used new brass N.P.T. elbow for the hose coupling and I machined custom stainless steel round trim plates and attached them with marine sealant to protect and seal the thru-hole in transom for 3-1/2 in. male to male coupler. Instead of again using a brass coupler for this thru-hull connection I went with a 316 S.S. part for the sake of future corrosion.
