This is a 2 part assebly for securing the trim tab to the hull. The flat plate is what I would refer to as a friction plate. When in operation the tab rub's against it. The 2nd plate is the hinge plate. This is what actually holds the tab in place. The assembly plates are sandwiched together during the install. I used 3M's 5200 throughout the the trim tab/ ram install. These item can be purchased separately for replacement which I had to do since the original ones had a few #10 holes drilled out for the #12's fasteners.
