The transom was a bit of a mess but she cleaned up nicely... new brass drain tubes, lots of sanding and hole filling, and 5 coats of Interlux Perfection. The only thing I would have done different is replacing the U-bolts - I left the original holes (when I filled in all the others), only to find it impossible to find hardware that fit - fortunately I found the original stainless U-bolts that came with the boat and just cleaned them up and reinstalled.
