Bit o' History- Ya shouldda seen the OLD Ghetto dock! It was under the high piling part of the North dock, and beside the ramp to the North float (old part) of the old dock. It leaned into the water on it's sunken side, and you had to be pretty spry to keep your footing. Of course, there weren't that many lawyers back then. Most of the boats there were inter-island transportation for folks that often owned whole islands(some still do) or goodly portions of islands, and would use small boats for grocery getters. Often the keys were left in the ignition for weeks at a time. Not anymore.
