Album: 1983 Montauk 17' Redo

This is my 1983 Montauk 17 which I purchased 3 years ago. She was stored on the water with lots of growth but had an 2001 Honda 90 on her. Sanded and rolled on more bottom paint, rerigged console wiring, installed hydraulic steering and fished her hard for three years. Decided to remove the bottom paint so I could put her on the drinking water lakes and it snowballed into a redo project as I have a habit of doing. This pic is the before like on my personal page. I have about 15 or 20 now as it is upside down sanded and ready for gel work. I have some very neat stuff planned for making this a great fishing boat not so much the traditional restore but top notch and workable.
