Jim, The plans are available here on the website...
Or I could build you the thing for a reasonable fee......

I have the same problem as Jim.......1971 Nauset with mahogony console but no windshield. If you were to build one, 1) do you include glass and gasket? 2) do you have any pics of others you have done? 3) How much would you charge?
Thanks!!

danedg,
I'm in the same boat, er nauset. I have a 1972 Nauset with mahogany console without a windshield and would be interested in having one built. What is a reasonable fee? Might be easier for you to build 3?

Hey Danedg,
If you come up with a price, I could use a windshield as well for my 1967 Eastport. I have plans and am building a console and seat, but do not have plans for the windshield.

Hi Danedg, I just bought a whaler and would be intrested in a console and glass as well if you are still making them. It,s a 16' something i'm still trying to find out what model. thanks in advance

You guys aren't going to believe this! I bought my 1972 from my dad in '95. The console was original, still had the glass, but the thing was dryrotting. My husband talked about trashing it and buying a new fiberglass console. I said I wanted to refinish the boat/restore the console (seats are long gone). He thought that was too much work. I came home from work one day and he had torn out the console and the windshield was in such bad shape it pretty much disintegrated - into the trash and he didn't even try to make a template. I've been furious with him ever since! Before i start resoring the hull (I'm hiring someone to do it but don't have estimate yet), can you tell me approximately what a refurbished 1972 Nauset might be worth? My husband wants to just buy a new boat (easiest). But I think it would be better to fix it up.

Specialty Marine has all the wood both finished and unfinished, I am going to buy the rps and center console unfinished and get my friend who builds fighting chairs here in Savannah to finish it in urethane. Had the interior sprayed in "Boston Whaler Blue" Linex.... So far so good. Now to figure out how much to get the exterior gelcoat redone.... Will post pics as available...
