Spent yesterday afternoon cruising with my girlfriend in my new to me 22'. First launch with the boat out of my home port in Sausalito, man did it feel good to get out in blue water. My girlfriend had never been out into the ocean so yesterday I took her several miles up the coast to Muir Beach, until her sea sickness kicked in.

On the way in I dropped her off by the coast guard station and had her take some photo and video of me.

As we were passing Angel island back towards harbor we spotted a Whale spout. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any good shots, and only very marginal video, but it was quite a treat to see a Whale inside the bay. Last time I saw one inside was about 10 years ago.

Here are some pictures.

(That little kid at the dock was mezmorized...not sure it if was the shiney prop or the Whaler, but he couldn't stop looking. Future CWer for sure. Haha.

Forgot to add that I removed the "WHALER" logo off the sides that were originally on her and spent 2 days detailing inside and out.

You can still see some fading in certain light, but overall you can't tell.

I'm not quite sure how to update my personal page...I made a new boat profile for the 22' but could only add pictures to my Outrage 19 profile.

Very nice find in California.

When editing your personal page, just change the title at the top and the boat model, year and length...
