Is there a way to research a whaler to find a previous owner? I bought this fantastic 31' Express and there are things I'd love to know. I believe that I am the 3rd owner...I bought it from some one in CT and had it trucked to NC where I live, after wet sanding the transom last week, I could see that the original 'port of call' was also in NC....the boat came 'back home'. I also wondered if there was any sort of diagram or schematics that could be downloaded for under the cockpit to figure out what feed lines and tanks are for what? Any help is greatly appretiated!
I found the previous owner of mine by calling the department that registers boats in NC? They are not suppose to give out their names, so you may have to call back and talk with different people until one is willing to give it to you.
They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety.
