I have seen many of the old V-4's still running after many hrs of operation. They weren't the greatest on fuel economy but as far as reliability, they are some of the best. Having a System Check Tachometer with the separate idiot lights help determine why the warning horn is going off. I added the System Check Tachometer to my older motor. http://www.whalercentral.com/articles...icle_id=72 They are also a little better on fuel than the earlier models.
