I have my eye on a 25 REvenge. Walkthru. Twin 150s. Will Use in Chesapeake and some inshore trips. ANy feedback on how this boat takes any type seas? Have never seen one before. Bow flare looks nice to handle some moderate seas. ANy and all feeback is greatly appreciated!
I have a 25 revenge I've been fishing in the gulf of mexico for the past 16 years. we run sometimes 35-45 miles offshore.we've been caught in 6-8 ft. seas in a thunderstorms, maybe more. the boat can take it. the only thing about these boats if you use it likeI do Ifind the windshield is to low. I made another one out of lexon about 17" hi and it bolts to the existing windshield. I will post some pictures soon of this boat.I can also attest to the legend that it won't sink when it's almost knee deep in water. I hit something in the gulf which made quite a hole in the starboard side.This boat had the 2 150h.p. motors but I replaced them with 2 225h.p. yamaha 4 strokes which added about 450 pounds at least in the stern. I did move the batteries under the ledge going into the cabin;which moved about 75 pounds and getting rid of the oil tanks also helped. There was 5 of us on board when that happened and we where 9 miles out from the Destin sea bouy . Had to go real slow to keep the water from coming in to fast. I hope this makes you feel confident about your revenge.It;s the best 25 ft. you can own. I bought another one, and am now in process of moving motors. rod holder arch, etc. from one to other.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Exactly what I wanted to know! We have spots about same distance to run to. Great to know about the move up to the more HP...that the boat handled it. Would love to see pix when you can...the more the better of course...but esp the windshield and battery relocation.
