I'm thinking about trading my 05 Tundra V8 4x4 for a 2010 Honda Ridgeline. I tow a 2007 Dauntless, boat, trailer and motor come in around 4000lbs. Just wondering if anyone else is using the RL to tow similar weight.

Thanks

Changed your mind on the Taco? I'm not sure, but I have been told that the RL is built on a mini van frame. Do you have the towing capacity listed on it? My wife looked at one when shopping for her Tacoma but we nixed it when it only came in 4 wheel drive, or at least something like it.

It can tow 5000lbs
I would purchase the 4wd version

Yea, just kind of playing around with the idea. I made the mistake of sitting in one then driving it Saturday. It sure is a LOT more comfortable than the Tacoma. I don't like the way they package the backup camera with the Nav Package. 3 grand more!!!. I might just bag the whole idea until I sell the boat later this year.

I have a friend with a Ridgeline and it tows well, but watch out for tongue weight. The independent rear end bows out the wheels a little too much in my opinion when weight is added to the bed or a trailer is hooked up

My wife has the pilot which the RL is based off of. I tow my outrage np, but I can feel it back there. My outrage is about as much as i would tow with it. By comparison, I hook the outrage to the back of my Ford F-350 and don't know it's there.

I own a 1988 22ft outrage with 225 yamaha, Boat has 140 gal fuel tank and I pull it with 2006 ridgeline. Pulls as good as my ford truck.

Keep the Tundra LOL.I had a 2000 put 198,000 miles on it Never kept one more the 50,000.Bought a05 Tacoma and hated it. No pwer to tow ,the overload springs kept hitting and the seating position was very uncompfortable.Bought a Infinity QX4 nice to tow but I miss my Tundra so much I,m looking to buy another 03-06.I have owned trucks for 27 years and used them all to the max.The Tundra is the best I've ever owned. I would say I, interested in yours but you shold keep it. LOL
