177 pounds, seems a bit heavy compared to the rest of the competition. Why is BRP making an engine so heavy versus the competition?

From what I have read, the 15 hp H.O. Is just a 30HP de- tuned. If you look at the weights on the Evinrude website it seems to make sense. Why they would do this other than cost savings doesn't make sense to me either.
As I understand it, the engine transom bracket and mid section were beefed up to with stand the rigorous pounding an aux. engine would recieve hanging on the transom. The engine block is the same as the 25-30 hp but the emm and other sensors are differant for this engine so it will stand upto trolling all day.
