All this talk about wood has got me thinking of adding mahogany caps to my boat. I did some work years ago helping to finish a multi-million dollar yacht. It had teak caprails and I remember how beutiful they where ( lots of daily upkeep on that much brightwork) Has anyone else tried putting wooden rails on there boats? I have a 1966 13' sport I am redoing. I know I will have to epoxy as well as screw the raild down due to no holding power for screws in the hull.

Thanbks George
