I am getting ready to replace the old hydraulic trim tabs on my 1986 Revenge 22WT. Would you recommend the Lenco's and if so.. which ones. Thanks and Happy New Year!

Just my $0.02 but don't recommend Lenco tabs, don't think electric actuators in water are a good idea. Have also read several accounts of shorter actuator life compared to hydraulic. Others will have their thoughts too.

Lenco's are nice and are standard equipment on new Outrages and Conquests. Plus they come with an LED display of amount of tabs you have down. Havent seen any performance issues in 5 years at our dealership.
That being said, Bennett tabs are also good units in the hydraulic variety.

I put Lenco's on my 18 Outrage and love them, very easy installation. As for size, get the biggest ones that will fit. I did 12x9's on my Outrage.

I had Lenco actuators on one of my boats they worked great. Had one problem with them at three years of age. One got stuck and the other was making noise. I called Lenco and they gave me a return authorization and within three days I had a new pair on my doorstep with a prepaid shipping label to return the old ones in. Very good customer service. No problems after that and they are now eight years old.

I have Lencos on my 25 foot cruiser, work great! Also have heard about the great customer service. They can easily rebuilt or swap them out very quickly. Also installation was very easy, just took a few hours.

Lencos, are great, I have had them on my past two boats and not one problem.
My cousin had one split from someone stepping on it while swimming and they replaced it free of charge.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

Thank you all for the information. Think I will stick with the existing hydraulic tabs that are on the boat. I'm going to move the control unit under the console out of the weather and hopefully get a few more years use out of them.
