i have a 25 foot boston whaler revenge model.Im putting a bracket on the boat and closing the transom.my question is there is a bar that runs across the floor in the back that seperated the splash well.i want to remove the bar beacuse it is in the way of where i want to put a fish box.Is there any way i can cut it out or is it structual?Any opinions or advice is welcome.

Without seeing pictures I would not say cut it out. However, You might be talking about a support used for a stern seat and if so you will be able to remove it.
Do you have pictures?

I definitely would not cut that splashwell wall out. I strongly discourage doing this.
I assume the built-in fishwell in the middle of the photo is too small for your use?
Almost every Whaler has some form of splashwell like this from the Outrage 18's on up.
Can you build around it and use this wall as part of your construction?

Yeah the built in fishwell is a waste of everything.it doesnt work,it only allows water to roll around in the floor when i tried to use it and it is just to small.i thought about building the sides up and making a better more usable live well of course i think this will add to much weight due to the engines being on brackets and also adding a fish box to the back.I guess i will just build the fish box around the structure that goes across the floor.maybe use the old fish well as some type of storage.

At least with that splash well dam you have, the fish well can be used for storage as it shouldn't get too wet. On the 22 Outrage I have, the splash well dam is so low I get water on the deck and in the fish well virtually every time out.

It might as well be glassed over and filled with foam. I know some of the 22 outrages have the full transom dam -- that has to be a better design.
Anyway, I would build around the dam if I were you. It should help to keep water off the deck and constantly filling the bilge.

Yeah i have fixed all that.This is a project in the making.I have already built the transom up and added the cap over the gunwale.All this will be glassed down onto the hull.boston whalers design was using rivots.i ground em all out and took the gel coat off to be glassed.this add tremendous strength to the top of the transom since the strength has been equally displaced down the top sides..
