I came into the dock yesterday, I unloaded, washed down. I was standing on the floating dock, givin her the "once over" and I heard something go "KLINK" and make a noise like a screw got pulled out. I'm thinking "what the heck was that", I looked down and the bar that connect's the two floating dock's between my feet, either rotted or fell out as my two feet went in opposite directions (ya know, like a draw bridge), I had no where to go but, I foreward flipped into the "Whaler". The boat only moved a few feet as the other chain's stopped the dock from pulling away from the bulk head but, I thought I was heading out to sea. I lashed it back and left a note to the "Dock master", I had to listen to "Muffled" giggles in the car from my family all the way to "Nathan's" for a Hot Dog ! LOL !
Just shows the corrosive effects of salt water... Those docks were only re-installed a few months back... would have thought someone would have inspected the hardware to make sure ... well never mind, I'm probably thinking again...
Matt, with your ability to do flips, sounds like you could always run away and join the circus...
