I have a 1989 Revegnge 22' with some small nicks in the gelcoat. What is the best source to purchase the "Desert Tan" gelcoat for repair? Or is there a colour code for this gelcoat so I can get it from a local (Norway) supplier?
If you can not source from either of these two outlets this is the best color code match I have found.
I used a color corrected light and the PANTONE (PMS) Color Matching System which is a color standard used by design professionals to ensure color matching for print and paint. It was dead nuts to MY gelcoat. Yours could be might be a little off because of many factors like mixing at the factory, where the boat was used, etc. etc...
Some in Europe do not use Pantone but use a system called colorcurve or RAL. I do not have that code but I can pull my color curve books and get a match if you need that info.
Cheers,
Jeff
