montauk fuel economy

Member Posts: 4 Comments: 0 Joined: 10/01/06	i was wondering what you guys averaged for fuel economy on 16-17 ft montauks...i was thinking that an older style (80s) basic 2 stroke evinrude might be in the ballpark of 3 mpg, maybe more/less? also wondering how the newer engines compared to one of these older 2 carbureted 2 strokes....any one have any ideas...thanks Nate
