In ordering a stern light, Sue Lodel at Twin Cities sent me a .pdf parts list for the classic montauk.

This document shows an illustration of the boat with arrows to all the parts and then boxes listing all of them.

I will forward it to Joe for adding to the site. If you want a copy before he gets it up there, email me.

Sue is a great resource, I have found "the" place to get Whaler parts. No better service and value around.

Phil,

Thanks for the Montauk diagram. I do already have this same diagram and it is great. I also have one for the Outrage 18. I have many other parts and diagrams that I am going to post on this site for either downloads, viewing or both. At this time we are waiting for a newer version of the Personal Photos software which includes the OEM parts photos.

Please bear with us....

Thanks so much for the .pdf parts list. I'm wondering, however, is page 3, which would list the parts shown on page 4, missing?

We have an '86 17' Montauk. Looking to find an original style battery box and the pads that go under the gas tanks. We're new to this, having recently graduated from a Zodiac to a real boat. Any help as to where to get OEM or reproduction parts, especially wood, would be appreciated.

doodyb,

The battery boxes are no longer available. Most everyone just uses a standard marine type battery box or equiviant.

The tank mats should still be available from a Boston Whaler dealer. They would probably be a different color though.

Wood Parts... Take a look through the OEM Photos section to see if the parts are shown there or maybe you could be a little more specific.

Hines Pointer,

I asked Sue at Twin Cities about the missing page. She said when BW was sold all of the part numbers were changed, so the diagram serves as a reference for you, and she doesn't send out all of the pages. Call her and she can find the part number.

Tom
