Has anybody tried repairing a damage outboard motor cover? I have an Evinrude Tracker 70 with a damaged corner on the cover. It appears to be fiberglass. Can this be repaired with epoxy resign and mat fibers? I'm not interested in restoring it to factory condition. I'll just remove the decals, sand and spot fill as needed, and repaint.

Thanks for any thoughts you might have.

Yes exactly as you said. A little resin and cloth and you are done. $25 buck on EBAY and you can get stickers
