Member Posts: 50 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/29/09	Starts fine and runs for about 2-4 mins until it gets hot then fizzles out and quits. Won't start until it cools then process repeats. Not a fuel problem, ive gone through carbs and pump already. Anyone know what would be causing it to die when warmed up? Ignition Coils need replaced maybe? Mike

Member Posts: 50 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/29/09	At first no, but I unclogged with wire hanger. Now there is water streaming out of the back, but not with much pressure in my opinion. I don't know what it should look like though...Good to know it will stop when over heating, the lower unit feels hot to touch also. I should probably replace impeller?

Member Posts: 50 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/29/09	Yeah, im going to do that. I got it running at higher rpm for a while and the stream was extremly hot, burnt my hand. I'm guessing that shouldnt be...Upon inspection of the thermostat, easier fix, it was not there and the chambers not wet at all. I think you're on to something Joe. Going to pick up impeller tomorrow hopefully. Is it normal to run these little older motors without the thermostat at all??? Thanks!
