does anybody know how i could run a new bow light wire. i am restoring a 13' and the wire is broken on the bow and i don't see the other end where the console is.
timh,
If it's the same rub rail molding as on my 15 then the molding is in two pieces.
The inner piece can be pulled out away from the outer piece (which is attached to the boat).
After removing the old wire, the new wire is then layed between the inner and outer layer leaving enough on each end for hookup to the bow light and the battery.
Warm dish soap on the edges of the inner piece will help the re-installation which is simply a matter of working the inner piece back into place. Do this when it is warm as the "rubber" will be more flexible.
