I've had my Johnson 175 Ficht now for 5 years and have had pretty good luck with it even though it's a ficht. I have a new problem since putting it in the water this year. She runs fine at low speed or at high speed but when she is running around 20mph I get sporadic hesitation. To get her running smooth again I either crank up the throttle or back off on the throttle. Again it is intermitant. I put some additives in the fuel to clean the injectors and eliminate water but she still hesitates. Is there another fuel filter other than the water seperator? Any thoughts would be helpful, maybe it's not even related to the fuel system?
