Yes. It's good for touch-ups on the trailer, where the hot dipped galvanized coating is scratched. Works reasonably well, usually needs to be re-applied after 2 or 3 years. Dull gray finish is a decent match to a galvanized finish that has been in the weather a while, not so well to to the shiny silver appearance coming out of the factory.

Yes, but different brand from the auto parts store. Painted my trailer fenders, which were galvinized with surface rust, and spotted other rusty spots. Its been 6- months and rust hasn`t come back, Did no prep work whatsoever, just pointed can and covered surface rust.

I have used similar instant galvanize on my trailer and it works well, just rough the surface with a scotch brite pad first. It does blend in well with a hot dipped trailer that has seen the elements for years

I like to uses rustoleum hammered finish spray paint. The silver lends itself to look a lot like galvanized coating. As mentioned above the cold galvanized looks like gray primer paint. It is my opinion that the paint protects as well as the cold galvanized.

My trailer is used primarily in fresh water and I sprayed it with the rustoleum hammered silver spray paint too. You're right bake, it does look like it's galvanized.
