I'm looking to do some fishing in the western part of Long Island Sound. I'm in NJ and would rather not brave the traffic to get out onto Long Island trailering my Montauk. It would be a lot easier for me to put in somewhere between New Rochelle or maybe as far up as Bridgeport, CT.

Any suggestions for a good place to launch from? I'm new at this so the easier the facility the better. I've only had the boat out once before and that was from Atlantic Highlands, NJ.

Thanks for your thoughts.
