low fluid in compass

Member Posts: 27 Comments: 0 Joined: 03/09/09	The original Ritchie compass on my 78 Montauk is low on fluid and the needle bounces all over the place while motoring around. How hard is it to refill the fluid? From what I've found it should be filled with odorless mineral spirits? I'm also not sure how the compass is mounted (adhesive, screws) so any info regarding this would be helpful too. Thanks, Tony
